CAS:124-68-5|The Application of AMP in the Ink

2023-06-12

2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP, CAS 124-68-5) is an organic compound with the molecular formula C6H15NO5S and a molecular weight of 89.14. AMP can be used as a vulcanization accelerator, acidic gas absorber, and additive for coatings, with pigment dispersion, pH adjustment, and rust prevention effects. In addition, AMP can also be used as a buffer ingredient in ophthalmic compositions for the treatment of Xerophthalmia and other diseases. An ophthalmic composition has been developed in the patent CN107072942A.This week, the editor of YACOO will briefly introduce the composition of the ophthalmic composition .
The ophthalmic composition comprises a poly Quaternary ammonium cation compound, an anionic polymer, an effective amount of organic acid, an organic acid salt or a mixture thereof.
Poly Quaternary ammonium cation compound selects poly Quaternary ammonium cation-42;
The anionic polymer is selected from hyaluronic acid, gellan gum, alkyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer and their mixtures;
Organic acids include but are not limited to carboxylic acids, dicarboxylic acids, tricarboxylic acids, their salts, and their mixtures;
The composition in this patent may also include one or more other excipients or active ingredients. Excipients can be relaxants, stretching agents, preservatives, chelating agents, buffering agents, and surfactants. Buffer can be phosphate, Borate, Acetate, amino alcohol (2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol, CAS: 124-68-5), etc.
The ophthalmic composition comprises a composition of poly Quaternary ammonium cation compound, an anionic polymer and an effective amount of organic acid, which inhibits the precipitation or complexation of poly Quaternary ammonium cation compound and anionic polymer.
