Product Introduction

MES is a white solid powder at room temperature and pressure, and its molecular structure contains a morpholine ring and an ethanesulfonic acid group. Morpholine ring is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound with high stability and inertness, and has no obvious toxicity or irritation to living organisms. The ethanesulfonic acid group is a negatively charged functional group with good water solubility and buffering properties. 2-Morpholine ethanesulfonic acid can be used as a component of a buffer and accelerator in cosmetics, biopharmaceuticals, IVD, sealing materials, plant culture and other fields.

Application of MES

With the increasing mental stress, cosmetics abuse, lifestyle changes, and environmental pollution in recent years, the incidence of facial sensitive skin has been continuously increasing. Lotion is the most commonly used skin care ingredient. The active ingredients, anti-corrosion system and emulsification system in lotion need to be reasonably matched, but most of the ingredients are prone to inactivation, high irritation or low system stability. Collagen is a large molecular protein extracted from animal tissues using extraction media such as acids and enzymes. It contains a large amount of carboxyl and hydroxyl amino acids, such as hydroxyproline, hydroxylysine, and glycine, which are natural moisturizing factors and have good moisturizing effects on the skin. In addition, collagen peptides are related to the growth, division, proliferation, migration, and differentiation of skin cells, providing nutrients to delay skin aging and promoting wound repair and radiation resistance. Therefore, they are widely used in the cosmetics field. However, due to its high molecular weight and the presence of the outer stratum corneum of the skin, the amount of collagen that penetrates through the skin is low, making it difficult to achieve an effect when applied topically. Therefore, the CN117860641A patent provides a production process for moisturizing and skincare emulsion cosmetics.

This process involves modifying yeast recombinant collagen with dopamine hydrochloride and modifying bacterial cellulose with hyaluronic acid to obtain modified collagen and modified bacterial cellulose components, respectively. A moisturizing and skincare emulsion cosmetic is prepared by mixing them with composite plant extracts, moisturizers, moisturizers, and other components. The modified collagen protein is prepared by the following steps:

(1) Add 2-morpholine ethanesulfonic acid and NaCl to sterile deionized water, adjust the system pH to 5.1 with NaOH solution, and obtain 2-morpholine ethanesulfonic acid buffer for later use;

(2) Dissolve collagen, 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride, N-hydroxysuccinimide, and dopamine hydrochloride in 2-morpholine ethanesulfonic acid buffer, and stir thoroughly at room temperature and inert gas atmosphere for 24 hours to obtain modified collagen.

The amide bonds contained in the modified collagen in this invention can form hydrogen bonds with amino acid residues on keratin, enhancing the interaction between collagen and the stratum corneum, and promoting the penetration of collagen on the skin surface. The modified bacterial cellulose has high hydrophilicity and can form multiple lotion.
