Product Introduction

PIPES is mainly used as a biological buffer and can be used in laboratory research and chemical production processes. In addition, PIPES can also be used in the ink.

Application of PIPES

The inkjet recording method is a method of recording by spraying small droplets of ink from a fine nozzle onto a recording medium. This method has the feature of being able to record high-resolution and high-quality images at high speed through relatively inexpensive devices. In inkjet recording methods, the properties, stability, and image quality of the ink used are very important. The existing technology includes inkjet printing and dyeing inks using dispersed dyes dispersed through resins and organosilicon surfactants. The use of naphthalene dispersants in ink mixed with dyes that are insoluble or difficult to dissolve in water can cause a foul odor. The existing technology also mixes organic silicon surfactants. If organosilicon surfactants are added to ink, although the initial surface tension decreases, the surface tension gradually increases during long-term storage, leading to poor filling and spray stability, and sometimes resulting in degraded image quality. Therefore, the CN109306203B patent provides an inkjet ink composition for sublimation transfer printing. The ink composition includes dispersed dyes, dispersed resins, organosilicon surfactants, and solubilizers.

This ink combination can add pH regulators as needed. As pH regulators, it can be adipic acid, citric acid, succinic acid, lactic acid, N, N-di (2-hydroxyethyl) -2-aminoethanesulfonic acid (BES), 4- (2-hydroxyethyl) -1-piperazineethanesulfonic acid (HEPES), morpholine ethanesulfonic acid (MES), N- (2-acetylamino) -2-iminodiacetic acid (ADA), piperazine-1,4-di (2-ethanesulfonic acid) (PIPES), N- (2-acetamide) -2-aminoethanesulfonic acid (ACES), N-tri (hydroxymethyl) methyl-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid (TES), acetamide glycine, trimethylglycine Good buffer solutions such as glycine and N-diglycine, phosphate buffer solutions, citric acid buffer solutions, and Tris buffer solutions.

This sublimation transfer inkjet ink combination can suppress odor during printing, has good filling properties, and is not prone to biological changes during storage, resulting in excellent storage stability.
