Product Introduction

MOPS-Na is commonly used as a buffer in biology. In biological experiments, it is an important pH stabilizing reagent, and appropriate weak acids and their conjugated bases are usually selected to mix to obtain a suitable pH value. Most biological reactions occur under neutral conditions, with pH generally selected between 6 and 8.

Application of MOPS-Na

In clinical hematology testing, the counting and classification of peripheral blood leukocytes in patients is of great significance for the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases. Hemolytic agents are usually composed of hemolytic agent A and hemolytic agent B. Hemolytic agent A is used to dissolve red blood cells, while hemolytic agent B plays a stabilizing role. When running a blood analyzer, it is necessary to add hemolytic agent A for a certain period of time before adding hemolytic agent B. This not only increases the cost of use, but also increases the detection steps, resulting in low detection efficiency. At the same time, due to the fact that most hemolytic agents currently contain carbonate ions and hydrogen carbonate ions, which are prone to bubbles, there are many interference factors in the detection process that affect particle counting, resulting in inaccurate test signals and large errors. Therefore, the CN111381017A patent has developed a method for preparing a five class hemolytic agent for white blood cells, with the specific steps as follows:

1. Weigh 0.5g/L sodium lauroyl sarcosine 0.5g, 1.0g/L lauroyl polyoxyethylene (7) ether 1.0g, 2.0g/L 3- (N-morpholino) propionic acid sodium salt/hydrochloric acid buffer 2.0g, 8.0g/L methanol 8.0g, and 3.0g/L glycerol 3.0g.

2. Dissolve sodium lauroyl sarcosine, sodium lauroyl polyoxyethylene (7) ether, sodium 3- (N-morpholinyl) propanesulfonate/hydrochloric acid buffer, methanol, and glycerol completely in water, and add water to volume to 1L.

3. Filter and prepare five types of hemolytic agents for white blood cells.

This patent can solve the problems of many interference factors, large errors, and low detection efficiency in the detection process.
