Reagent with MOPS for detecting creatinine in human serum 2019-12-14 17:34:34


Serum creatinine is a product of muscle metabolism in humans. The measurement is an effective index for evaluating the glomerular filtration rate, and can effectively reflect the degree of substantial damage of the renal function, and the clinical detection is important for medical diagnosis. So how to test it in the clinic?


Picric acid method and enzymatic method are commonly used in the clinical test of Creatinine. Although the picric acid method is cheap, the linear range is narrow, it is easily interfered by other substances, and detection bias occurs. The anti-interference ability of existing sarcosine oxidase/peroxidase method on the market is not strong, precision and accuracy is not high, the detection effect is not ideal, especially the interference of calcium dobesilate drug can not be eliminated (enzymatic creatinine reagent will be effected by this drug). Therefore, it is necessary to invent a creatinine content detecting reagent in human serum interfered with by calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate to solve the above problems.


In order to solve the above problems, the researchers invented a reagent for detecting creatinine in human serum, including R1 reagent and R2 reagent, which respectively include:

1、R1 reagent: 3-morpholinepropanesulfonic acid 3.0~6.0g/L, TOOS 0.5~1.0g/L, Brij-35 3.0~5.0g/L, gentamicin 0.2~0.6g/L, sarcosine oxidase 10~20 KU/L, Creatine 20~40 KU/L, vitamin oxidase 2~4 KU/L, hydrazine sulfate 0.2~0.6 g/L.

2、R2 reagent: 3-morphopropanesulfonic acid 3.0~6.0 g/L, 4-AAP 0.3~0.6 g/L, creatinine 200~400 KU/L, Proclin300 0.5~1 mL/L, sub-Potassium ferricyanide 0.02~0.05g/L.


The serum creatinine content was measured by liquid dual reagent colorimetry using R1 reagent and R2 reagent.

The method adopts an automatic biochemical analyzer with dual reagent function, and uses a double reagent end point method to determine the accuracy of the detection data, and is effective by adding hydrazine sulfate to R1 to eliminate calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate drug interference, to ensure the accuracy of clinical creatinine reagent detection, it can achieve a wide linear range, strong resistance to calcium hydroxybenzenesulfonate drugs, good stability, high accuracy of creatinine enzyme detection.
